Jack Johnson was asked by Universal Pictures to bring Curious George to life with Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies. A difficult task as Curious George’s character in the children’s books does not speak. Johnson called on some friends to help out with a few tracks (Ben Harper, Matt Costa & G. Love).

The Barenaked Ladies recorded this album for their own kids to enjoy, as the number of kids in the BNL family now outnumbers the bandmates by a 2 to 1 ratio. They were nice enough to release the album so the rest of us, and our children could listen.
